Naioth

Naioth was a settlement near Ramah where the prophet Samuel lived and led a school of prophets. David fled there to escape King Saul's persecution.

Overview

Naioth was a prophetic community located near Ramah in the hill country of Ephraim, where Samuel presided over a group of prophets. When King Saul sought to kill David, David escaped to this sanctuary of faith and spiritual devotion. The presence of God's prophet and His Spirit-filled community provided both physical refuge and spiritual strength during David's time of trial.
