Overview
Jehoiarib was one of the twenty-four priestly divisions established during David's reign (1 Chronicles 24:7). Members of this family returned from Babylonian exile, signifying God's continued preservation of His priesthood and the restoration of temple worship. Their return was essential to re-establishing proper worship and covenant life in Jerusalem.
