Hazeroth

Hazeroth was a wilderness camp where the Israelites stopped during their exodus from Egypt, notable as the location where Miriam was struck with leprosy for opposing Moses' leadership.

Overview

Hazeroth was one of the encampments of Israel during their wilderness journey after leaving Egypt. Located between Kibroth-hattaavah and Rithmah, this site marked an important stop where divine discipline was administered to Miriam for her rebellion against Moses' authority, demonstrating God's protection of His appointed leader.
