Gederoth

Gederoth was a town in the territory of Judah mentioned in Joshua's conquest account, representing God's faithful allocation of the promised land to His people.

Overview

Gederoth (also spelled Gederothaim) was a lowland city assigned to the tribe of Judah during Joshua's division of the conquered land of Canaan. Located in the Shephelah region, it served as a territorial boundary marker for God's people as they settled in their promised inheritance.
