Overview
Ventriloquism, or speaking through another person, appears in Scripture as a manifestation of demonic activity rather than a legitimate spiritual gift. The practice involved a spirit speaking through a human medium, deceiving observers about the source of the message. This deceptive practice stands in stark contrast to the Holy Spirit's work, which operates in truth and transparency.
