Overview
Shemaah the Gizonite was a warrior who came to David's side when David was at Ziklag, fleeing from King Saul. He is listed among the mighty men who strengthened David's hand during this difficult period of his life. These warriors recognized David's calling and future kingship, choosing to support him despite the personal risk.
