Overview

Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai served as the tribal leader of Simeon during the exodus from Egypt. He is mentioned in connection with the census of Israel and the organization of the camp around the tabernacle. As a prince of his tribe, he represented Simeon's interests and participated in the dedication offerings of the tabernacle.
