5 scripture references across 2 subtopics — Nave's Topical Bible

Overview

Shaul appears in the genealogical records of Scripture as a son of Simeon (Genesis 46:10; Exodus 6:15). He is listed among Jacob's descendants who entered Egypt during the famine, and his family line is tracked through the wilderness wanderings and into the Promised Land. The Shaulites became a distinct clan within the tribe of Simeon (Numbers 26:13; 1 Chronicles 4:24).
