Overview
Rakkon was a coastal city located in the territory allotted to the tribe of Dan during the conquest and settlement of Canaan. The city served as one of the defining border points for Dan's inheritance, situated in the region of ancient Palestine near the Mediterranean coast.

Application
Though Rakkon is mentioned only briefly, it reminds us that God's precise allocation of the promised land to each tribe demonstrates His sovereignty and fulfillment of covenant promises to Israel.
