Overview
Pildash was one of the sons born to Nahor, Abraham's brother, through his concubine Reumah. Though his name appears only once in Scripture, he is part of the genealogical record that traces the family lineage of Abraham and demonstrates God's faithfulness in preserving and multiplying the descendants of Abraham's household.
Key Scriptures
"Nahor's concubine, whose name was Reumah, also bore children: Tebah, Gaham, Tahash, and Maacah." (Genesis 22:24, ESV). This verse follows the account of Nahor's eight sons born to Milcah and lists Pildash among the children of his concubine Reumah.
Application
While Pildash is mentioned only briefly in Scripture, his inclusion in the genealogical record reminds us that God sees and records all people, and every life has significance in His purposes and plan.
