Overview
Parnach was an Israelite leader from the tribe of Zebulun chosen by God to participate in the distribution of Canaan to the twelve tribes. He served alongside other tribal representatives as part of Moses' leadership structure during the final stages of Israel's wilderness journey.
Key Scriptures
"From the tribe of Zebulun, Parnach the son of Azzan" (Numbers 34:25, ESV).
This reference appears in the context where Moses lists the names of the men who would divide the land: "These are the names of the men who shall divide the land to you for inheritance: Eleazar the priest and Joshua the son of Nun" (Numbers 34:17, ESV).
Application
Parnach's role reminds us that God uses ordinary leaders to accomplish His purposes, and faithful service in community responsibility honors the Lord's design for His people.
