Overview
Mysia was a region in northwestern Asia Minor (modern-day Turkey). During Paul's second missionary journey, he and his team traveled through Phrygia and Galatia, then came to the borders of Mysia. Though they sought to enter and preach the gospel there, the Spirit of Jesus prevented them from doing so, redirecting their path toward Macedonia instead.

"So, passing by Mysia, they went down to Troas" (Acts 16:8, ESV).
Application
This account reminds believers that God's guidance sometimes comes through closed doors and redirected plans, leading us toward His greater purposes even when our initial plans seem reasonable.
