Kabzeel

0 scripture references — Nave's Topical Bible

Overview

Kabzeel was a fortified city in the Negev region of Judah (Joshua 15:21). After the Babylonian exile, it was among the cities resettled by returning Israelites, signifying God's restoration of His covenant people to their promised land (Nehemiah 11:25). This return fulfilled prophecies of restoration and renewal.

Key Scriptures

"The villages with their fields, some of the people of Judah lived in Kirjath Arba and its suburbs, in Dibon and its suburbs, in Jekabzeel and its villages" (Nehemiah 11:25, NKJV).

"So the remnant of Israel shall not do injustice nor speak lies, nor shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth; for they shall feed their flocks and lie down, and no one shall make them afraid" (Zephaniah 3:13, NKJV).

Application

Kabzeel's restoration reminds believers that God honors His promises and faithfully restores those who repent, offering hope during seasons of spiritual exile or difficulty.
