Idalah appears in Scripture as one of the cities assigned to the tribe of Zebulun during Joshua's allocation of Canaan. Though little is known about this settlement, its mention in the biblical record demonstrates God's meticulous care in distributing the Promised Land to each tribe according to His covenant promises.
