Overview
Hammedatha was an Agagite whose son Haman served as prime minister under King Ahasuerus of Persia. Though Hammedatha himself is not described in detail, his son Haman became infamous for his plot to annihilate the Jewish nation. The account demonstrates God's faithful protection of His people despite hidden enemies and cultural opposition.
