0 scripture references — Nave's Topical Bible

Overview

Eldaah was a son of Midian, who was himself a son of Abraham and Keturah (Genesis 25:4). He represents one of the many descendants through whom God's covenant promises extended beyond Isaac and Jacob. His name appears in the genealogical records that establish Abraham's far-reaching lineage across multiple peoples and nations.

Key Scriptures

"Abraham gave all he had to Isaac. But to the sons of his concubines Abraham gave gifts, and while he was still living he sent them away from his son Isaac, eastward to the east country" (Genesis 25:5-6, ESV).

"The sons of Midian were Ephah, Epher, Hanoch, Abida, and Eldaah. All these were the children of Keturah" (Genesis 25:4, NASB).

Application

Consider how God's blessings extended to Abraham's descendants through multiple lines, reminding us that God's grace operates beyond our narrowest expectations and fulfills His promises in ways we may not fully anticipate.
