Word

The Word refers to Jesus Christ, God's eternal Son, through whom God revealed Himself and accomplished salvation. He is the divine Word who became incarnate, dwelling among us full of grace and truth.

Overview

The Word (Greek: Logos) is a central biblical concept referring primarily to Jesus Christ as God's self-revelation. John's Gospel emphasizes that the Word existed from eternity with God and is fully God. The Word became flesh in Jesus Christ, enabling humanity to see God's glory and receive His redemptive grace.

Key Scriptures

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God" (John 1:1, ESV).

"And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth" (John 1:14, ESV).

"And His name is called The Word of God" (Revelation 19:13, NASB).

Application

Recognizing Jesus as God's Word means submitting to His authority and allowing His truth to transform how you live, think, and relate to others daily.
