Overview
Tirhakah was the king of Ethiopia (Cush) who marched out to fight against the Assyrian army under Sennacherib when it threatened Jerusalem. His intervention represented an unexpected military alliance that God used to accomplish His purposes of protecting Judah and validating King Hezekiah's faith in the Lord.
