Overview
Tel-Harsa was a settlement in Babylon where a group of Jewish exiles resided during the captivity. When the opportunity came to return to Jerusalem under Cyrus's decree, some inhabitants of Tel-Harsa joined the migration home but faced a significant obstacle: they could not establish their family lineage or prove their Israelite heritage.
