Overview
Tamah was the head of a family of temple servants who returned to Jerusalem after the Babylonian captivity under Zerubbabel's leadership. The Nethinim were dedicated servants assigned to assist the Levites in temple duties. Tamah's family is specifically recorded as having made the journey back to the promised land to participate in the restoration of worship.
