Overview
Tabeel served as an official under the Persian king Artaxerxes I during the post-exilic period. He was among those who wrote a letter to the king opposing the Jewish reconstruction of Jerusalem's walls, claiming it would lead to rebellion against Persian authority. This opposition exemplifies the spiritual resistance faced by God's people during restoration.
