Overview
The Sardites were a family clan within the tribe of Judah, descended from Sard, the son of Judah and grandson of Jacob. They are recorded in the second census of Israel taken by Moses and Eleazar the priest in the plains of Moab, demonstrating the organized genealogical structure of God's covenant people as they prepared to enter the Promised Land.
