Netophah

Netophah was a small town in Benjamin whose residents returned from Babylonian exile. It appears in the lists of those who rebuilt Jerusalem after the captivity.

Netophah was a village in the territory of Benjamin, located near Bethlehem. After the Babylonian exile, inhabitants of this town were among those who returned to rebuild Jerusalem and restore worship in the temple.

"The men of Netophah, fifty-six" (Ezra 2:22, ESV). "The men of Netophah, one hundred and twenty-eight" (Nehemiah 7:26, NASB). Both passages list Netophah among the towns whose residents participated in the return from exile under Zerubbabel's leadership.

Application
