Overview
Nahum prophesies the fall of Nineveh approximately 150 years after Jonah's preaching to that city. The book emphasizes God's jealousy for His name, His patience before judgment, and His ultimate control over nations. Nahum assures Judah that despite Assyrian oppression, God will bring complete destruction upon their enemies.
