Overview
Kirjath-Sannah (also spelled Kirjath-Sepher) was located in the hill country of Judah and served as an important administrative and religious center in ancient Israel. The city was captured by Caleb and given to the Levites for their service to God. It later functioned as one of Israel's cities of refuge, providing protection for those who committed unintentional manslaughter.
