Overview
Ishma was one of Abraham's sons born to Keturah after Sarah's death (Genesis 25:2). While not part of the primary covenant line through Isaac, Ishma's existence demonstrates God's generous provision and the expansion of Abraham's descendants according to God's promise that Abraham would be 'father of many nations' (Genesis 17:5).
