Huppim

Huppim was a son of Benjamin mentioned in genealogical records, representing one of the tribal families of Israel whose lineage connected to God's chosen people.

Overview

Huppim appears in the genealogical records of Benjamin's descendants, listed among the sons born to Benjamin. While little is known about his personal life or accomplishments, his inclusion in Scripture affirms that God's covenant people were multiplied through successive generations, and every member of Israel's tribes had significance in God's redemptive plan.

Key Scriptures

"The sons of Benjamin: Bela, Becher, Ashbel, Gera, Naaman, Ehi, Rosh, Muppim, Huppim, and Ard" (1 Chronicles 7:6, ESV). "So all Israel was recorded in genealogies, and these are written in the Book of the Kings of Israel and Judah" (1 Chronicles 9:1, ESV).

Application

Remember that God knows and values every believer by name, and our lives have significance in His eternal purposes regardless of earthly prominence.
