Overview
Hashabniah is mentioned in Nehemiah 10:25 as one of the Levites and leaders who sealed the covenant renewal under Nehemiah's leadership after the wall of Jerusalem was rebuilt. This covenant represented the people's commitment to follow God's law and separate themselves from foreign influences that had compromised their faith during exile.
