MEHU'NIM (habitations), a family among the non-Israelites who returned from Babylon with Zerubbabel, Ezr 2:50; probably the same as the Mehunims, Ezr 2: Chr. 26:7, against whom King Uzziah waged a successful war, and who are also mentioned in 1 Chr 4:41 as a Hamitic tribe settled from of old in Palestine, and oppressing the Israelites.
