BA'SIN. It is impossible at this day to tell wherein the basins, bowls, and cups so often mentioned together exactly differed, but the basins were probably small. "The 'basin' from which Jesus washed his disciples' feet was probably larger and deeper than the hand-basin for sprinkling." John 13:5.
