Key Scriptures

"The sons of Uzziel were Micah the first and Isshiah the second. And the sons of Merari were Mahli and Mushi. The sons of Mahli were Eleazar and Kish. Eleazar died having no sons, but only daughters; their kinsmen, the sons of Kish, took them as wives. The sons of Mushi were three: Mahli, Eder, and Jeremoth" (1 Chronicles 24:24-26, ESV).

"These were the sons of Levi by their fathers' houses, the heads of fathers' houses as they were enrolled by number of names by their polls, who did the work for the service of the house of the Lord" (1 Chronicles 24:30, ESV).
