Shamer

Shamer was a Levite musician in Israel's temple during King David's reign, serving in the worship and praise of God through music and song.

Overview

Shamer was a son of Jahath and a Levite appointed by King David to serve in the temple worship. As a member of the Merarite family of Levites, he was dedicated to leading worship through music, which was a vital part of Israel's spiritual life and devotion to God.
