Tobijah

Tobijah was a Levite teacher commissioned by King Jehoshaphat to instruct Judah in the Law of the Lord. He also appears in connection with Zechariah's symbolic crown for the high priest Joshua.

Overview

Tobijah served as one of the Levitical instructors sent throughout Judah during King Jehoshaphat's reign to teach the people God's Law. His role exemplified the spiritual leadership and education vital to maintaining covenant faithfulness. Tobijah also appears in Zechariah's vision concerning the symbolic crowning of Joshua the high priest, representing God's plans for His people's future restoration.
