Maai

The Maai Return refers to the second coming of Jesus Christ, when He will return to earth in glory to judge the living and the dead. This is a foundational doctrine of biblical Christianity affirming Christ's promised return.

Overview

Jesus promised His disciples that He would return to complete God's redemptive plan. This future event, often called the Second Coming or Parousia, will involve Christ's visible, bodily return to judge all humanity and establish His eternal kingdom. The Maai Return is central to Christian hope and eschatology.

Key Scriptures

"Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven" (Acts 1:11, ESV).

"For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God" (1 Thessalonians 4:16, ESV).

"When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne" (Matthew 25:31, NIV).

Application

Living in light of Christ's imminent return should motivate believers to faithful obedience, evangelism, and holy living as we anticipate His arrival.
