Overview
Satan, called Lucifer in Isaiah 14, will not return to power but faces final defeat. Revelation describes his binding during Christ's millennial reign and ultimate destruction in the Lake of Fire. His influence continues until Christ's return, but his fate is sealed.
Key Scriptures
"How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations!" (Isaiah 14:12, NKJV). "And the devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever" (Revelation 20:10, NKJV). "And when the thousand years are finished, Satan will be released from his prison and will come out to deceive the nations" (Revelation 20:7-8, ESV).
Application
Recognize that Satan's ultimate defeat is assured through Christ's victory, providing believers confidence that evil will not prevail eternally.
