Lebanah

Lebanah was a family leader among the temple servants (Nethinim) who returned from Babylonian exile to Jerusalem. His descendants are listed among those who helped rebuild the temple and restore worship.

Overview

Lebanah (also spelled Lebana) is mentioned in the registry of temple servants who returned from exile under Zerubbabel's leadership around 538 BC. These Nethinim were dedicated to assisting the Levites in temple service and maintenance. His family's return demonstrates God's faithfulness in preserving a remnant for continued worship.
