The return of Jesus Christ is the blessed hope of believers and the culmination of God's redemptive plan. Scripture promises His literal, bodily return to judge all people and establish His eternal kingdom.

Overview

Jesus Christ will physically return to earth in glory to complete redemption history. This return will include the resurrection of the dead, final judgment, and the establishment of a new heaven and new earth where God dwells with His people forever.

Key Scriptures

"After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands." (Revelation 7:9, ESV)

"Now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known." (1 Corinthians 13:12, NIV)

"He who testifies to these things says, 'Surely I am coming soon.' Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!" (Revelation 22:20, NASB)

Application

Live in anticipation of Christ's return by growing in holiness, sharing the gospel urgently, and fixing your hope on eternity rather than earthly pursuits.
