Overview
All Christians will appear before Christ's judgment seat to give account of their lives and works. This event occurs after the rapture and is distinct from the final judgment of unbelievers. Believers' salvation is secure, but their works will be examined to determine eternal rewards and loss.
Key Scriptures
"For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil" (2 Corinthians 5:10, ESV).
"Each one's work will become manifest, for the day will disclose it, because it will be revealed by fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each one has done" (1 Corinthians 3:13, ESV).
"So then each of us will give an account of himself to God" (Romans 14:12, ESV).
Application
Live with eternity in view, knowing your faithful service matters and will be rewarded by Christ, even though your salvation depends on His grace alone.
