Overview
Joshbekashah (also spelled Joshbekasha) was one of the sons of Heman, a chief musician appointed by King David to lead worship in the tabernacle. He was assigned specific duties in the musical service and gatekeeping roles within Israel's worship system. After the Babylonian exile, he represents the faithful remnant who returned to rebuild and restore proper worship in Jerusalem.
