Overview
After Moses led Israel out of Egypt, his father-in-law Jethro brought Moses's wife Zipporah and their two sons to meet him in the wilderness. Jethro witnessed God's mighty deliverance and offered Moses wise counsel regarding the administration of justice among the people, suggesting the appointment of able men to judge smaller matters while Moses handled the greater cases.
