Jehoshua

Jehoshua (Jesus) will physically return to earth to judge all people and establish His eternal kingdom. This foundational Christian belief is central to biblical eschatology and motivates holy living.

Overview

Jesus Christ ascended to heaven after His resurrection and will return visibly and bodily to complete God's redemptive plan. His return will involve the resurrection of the dead, final judgment, and the establishment of a new heaven and new earth where believers will dwell with God forever.

Key Scriptures

"Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven" (Acts 1:11, ESV).

"For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first" (1 Thessalonians 4:16, ESV).

"Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away" (Revelation 21:1, ESV).

Application

Since Christ's return is certain, live in readiness and holiness, prioritizing eternal values over earthly pursuits.
