Overview
Jaazaniah, son of Azzur, was among the twenty-five men whom Ezekiel saw in a vision at the east gate of the Lord's temple. He represented the spiritually hardened leadership of Jerusalem who rejected God's warnings and trusted in their own wisdom rather than submitting to the Lord's direction through His prophet.

And behold, at the entrance of the gate there were twenty-five men...And he said to me, 'Son of man, these are the men who devise iniquity and who give wicked counsel in this city'" (Ezekiel 11:1, 2, ESV).
