Overview
Ishbi-Benob was a giant warrior from Gath whose bronze spear weighed 300 shekels. He confronted David during one of Israel's battles with the Philistines, seeking to kill the aging king. Abishai intervened and struck down the giant, saving David's life and prompting David's men to protect him from future combat.
