Hephzi-Bah

Hephzi-bah (meaning 'my delight is in her') is a prophetic name given to restored Zion, signifying God's pleasure in His people after judgment and restoration. It represents the future reconciliation and joy between God and His redeemed people.

Overview

The term "Hephzi-bah" appears in Isaiah's prophecy concerning Jerusalem's future restoration. After judgment, God promises to restore His people with such favor that the land itself will be renamed to reflect His delight in them. This speaks to the complete restoration and reconciliation of God's people in His plan.

Key Scriptures

"You shall no longer be termed Forsaken, and your land shall no longer be called Desolate; but you shall be called Hephzi-bah, and your land Beulah; for the LORD delights in you" (Isaiah 62:4, ESV).
