Helkai

Helkai was a priest during the time of the high priest Joiakim in post-exilic Judah, representing the priestly line of Sallai in the restored Jerusalem community.

Helkai served as a priest during the restoration period after the Babylonian exile, mentioned in the genealogical records of Nehemiah. He represented the priestly family of Sallai and was part of the community that rebuilt Jerusalem's spiritual life under Nehemiah's leadership.
