Overview
Haziel is not found in the canonical books of the Bible (ESV, NASB, or NIV). References to this name appear primarily in Jewish mystical literature and apocryphal texts outside the biblical canon. Evangelical Christianity recognizes only the 66 books of the Protestant Bible as authoritative Scripture, and therefore does not include teachings about Haziel in doctrinal or spiritual instruction.
Key Scriptures
"All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:16, ESV). "Do not add to his words, lest he rebuke you and you be found a liar" (Proverbs 30:6, ESV). The Bible provides sufficient revelation: "the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple" (Psalm 19:7, ESV).
Application
Trust in the complete and sufficient revelation of God found in the canonical Scriptures rather than seeking spiritual truth in extra-biblical sources.
