Overview
In Acts 19, Luke records that God performed extraordinary miracles through Paul in Ephesus. People would take handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched Paul's skin and apply them to the sick, resulting in healing and deliverance from evil spirits. This demonstrates God's sovereign power to work through physical means when faith is present.
Key Scriptures
"God did extraordinary miracles by the hands of Paul, so that even handkerchiefs or aprons that had touched his skin were carried away to the sick, and their diseases left them and the evil spirits came out of them." (Acts 19:11-12, ESV)
"And the apostles performed many signs and wonders among the people" (Acts 5:12, NIV)
Application
While God may work through various means, believers should recognize that ultimate healing and deliverance come from God alone, not from objects themselves, and should pray with faith that God will work according to His will and purposes.
