Fuller

The Fuller Return refers to Christ's complete and final return to earth, when He will judge all people, establish His eternal kingdom, and transform creation. This doctrine emphasizes the bodily, visible, and glorious nature of Christ's second coming.

Overview

Scripture teaches that Jesus Christ will return physically and visibly to complete redemption and establish His eternal kingdom. This return will be preceded by the preaching of the gospel to all nations and will culminate in the final judgment, the resurrection of all people, and the creation of new heavens and a new earth.

Key Scriptures

"For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first" (1 Thessalonians 4:16, ESV).

"When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another" (Matthew 25:31-32, NIV).

"Now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully" (1 Corinthians 13:12, NIV).

Application

Live with readiness and holiness, knowing Christ's return is certain and could occur at any time.
