Overview
The return of Israel to their promised land fulfills Old Testament prophecies regarding God's faithfulness to His covenants. This restoration, beginning in the late 1800s and accelerating after 1948, is understood by many evangelicals as evidence of God's sovereign plan in history and His unchanging promises to the Jewish people.
