Overview
Ezbon (also spelled Ozni) was one of the sons of Gad, Jacob's son, and represents part of the tribal genealogy of Israel. He appears in the genealogical records that trace the descendants of Jacob through Gad, one of the twelve tribes of Israel. These genealogies serve to establish the covenant promises God made to Abraham and Jacob regarding their descendants.
